History and Care

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, often called "Cavaliers," are lovable, charming, and they possess a great disposition. They get along well with children and other animals. My children have a blast playing with our Cavaliers. The Cavaliers are very playful, patient, and easy going. As far as living enviroments, Cavaliers can adjust to a small apartment in town as easily as they can adjust to a large farm or ranch in the country. With a variety of available colors, you should be able to find a Cavalier that you like. Their colors are Blenheim (chestnut and white), Tricolor (black, white, and tan), Ruby (solid red), and Black and Tan. We currently only have two colors: Blenheims and Tricolors. All of our Cavaliers are AKC registered and all puppies come with full AKC registration unless otherwise noted.

Cavaliers have been around since the early 1600's. They were found among the royal families of England and are often seen in the pictures of "royal families" from early history. These dogs have been popular for many centuries, but have only recently been recognized by the American Kennel Club. In 1996, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels became the 140th AKC breed.
